SRS Warning Light Circuit Malfunction (Always Light Up, When DTC Is Not Output)
SRS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION (ALWAYS LIGHT UP, WHEN DTC IS NOT OUTPUT)CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The SRS warning light is located on the combination meter assembly.
When the SRS is normal, the SRS warning light comes on for approximately 6 seconds after the ignition switch is turned from the LOCK position to the ON position, and then goes off automatically.
If there is a malfunction in the SRS, the SRS warning light comes on to inform the driver of a problem.
The SRS warning light signal is transmitted through CAN and BEAN to each ECU including the airbag sensor assembly center.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT: Make sure that DTC B1281 has not been output. If DTC B1281 has been output, refer to the multiplex communication system.
CAUTION: Be sure to perform the following procedures before troubleshooting to avoid unexpected airbag deployment.
a. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
b. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
c. Disconnect the connectors from the airbag sensor assembly center.
d. Disconnect the connectors from the horn button assembly.
e. Disconnect the connector from the front passenger airbag assembly.
f. Disconnect the connector from the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No.1.
g. Disconnect the connector from the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No.2.
h. Disconnect the connector from the front seat airbag assembly LH.
i. Disconnect the connector from the front seat airbag assembly RH.
j. Disconnect the connector from the curtain shield airbag assembly LH.
k. Disconnect the connector from the curtain shield airbag assembly RH.
l. Disconnect the connector from the front seat outer belt assembly LH.
m. Disconnect the connector from the front seat outer belt assembly RH.
n. Disconnect the connectors from the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly.
