DISASSEMBLY
1. REMOVE NO. 5 CONSOLE BOX RETAINER
a. Remove the No. 5 console box retainer as shown in the illustration.
2. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Open the console compartment door sub-assembly.
b. Slightly deform areas [A] and [B] of the console box assembly inward to disengage the 2 claws. Next, raise the console compartment door sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
c. Remove the 4 screws and the console compartment door sub-assembly.
3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Loosen the 10 screws and disconnect the connector.
b. Turn the console box illumination light assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.
4. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER
6. REMOVE AUDIO TERMINAL
REASSEMBLY
1. INSTALL AUDIO TERMINAL
2. INSTALL POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER
3. INSTALL POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Turn the console box illumination light assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and install it.
b. Tighten the 10 screws and connect the connector.
5. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the console compartment door sub-assembly with the 4 screws.
b. Assemble the 2 upper console box insulators as shown in the illustration.
CAUTION: Make sure the upper console box insulators are assembled as shown in the illustration. If they are not assembled properly, the console compartment door may not slide smoothly, or injury may result when the console compartment door slides.
c. Align the 2 claws to the guides and engage the console compartment door sub-assembly to the rail on the console box assembly as shown in the illustration.
d. Check the sliding operation of the console compartment door sub-assembly.
1. Check if the console compartment door sub-assembly slides smoothly.
6. INSTALL NO. 5 CONSOLE BOX RETAINER
a. Install the No. 5 console box retainer.
