REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY





a. Detach the 2 front hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly from the vehicle body.

NOTICE: Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.

1. Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.
2. Repeat for the other hook.

b. Detach the 2 rear hooks of the seat cushion from the seatback.
c. Remove the seat cushion.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY





a. Using a screwdriver, detach the claws to open the caps of the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.
b. Remove the 3 screws and rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.

HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side





c. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to open the cap of the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

d. Remove the 2 screws and rear seat shoulder belt guide.





e. Remove the 4 bolts and rear seatback assembly.
f. Detach the 3 upper hooks of the rear seatback assembly from the vehicle body.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY





a. Place the rear seatback assembly in the cabin.

NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

b. Install the rear seatback assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)





c. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH with the 3 screws.
d. Pass the seat belt through and close the caps of the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.

HINT: Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.





e. Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide with the 2 screws.
f. Pass the seat belt through and close the cap of the rear seat center shoulder belt guide.

2. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY
3. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY





a. Attach the 2 rear hooks of the seat cushion to the seatback.
b. Attach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion to the vehicle body.
c. Confirm that the seat cushion is firmly installed.

NOTICE: When installing the seat cushion, make sure the seat belt buckle is not under the seat cushion.

HINT: After installing the seat cushion, vertically (up and down) rock the area around the rear seat cushion lock hooks. Make sure that there is no abnormal noise. If abnormal noise is heard, replace the rear seat cushion lock hooks with new ones.
