Removal








2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ACTIVE CONTROL ENGINE MOUNT:

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

6. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

9. REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET FR
HINT: Securely support the automatic transaxle using a jack.





(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors and clamp.






(b) Remove the bolt and disconnect the earth cable.






(c) Remove the 4 bolts and engine mounting bracket FR.
10. REMOVE ACTIVE CONTROL ENGINE MOUNT






(a) Remove the 3 nuts and active control engine mount.






(b) Remove the 2 nuts and acceleration sensor.
