This is the display signal circuit of the television camera assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)





(a) Disconnect the J51 connector from the multi-display.





(b) Disconnect the Q43 connector from the television camera assembly.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY





(a) Reconnect the J51 connector to the multi-display.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:






NG -- REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
(a) Reconnect the J51 connector to the multi-display and the Q43 connector to the television camera assembly.









(b) Check the waveform of the television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.
(1) Measurement terminal: Q43-2 (CV+) - Q43-1 (CV-)
Measurement setting: 0.2 V/DIV, 50 micro s/DIV
Condition: Engine switch on (IG), Shift lever in R
OK:
Pulses as shown in the illustration.
NG -- REPLACE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
