Absorber Control Indicator Light Remains ON

DESCRIPTION

- Check the DTC and make sure that the normal system code is output Adaptive Variable Suspension System.
If a malfunction code is output, refer to the "DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART" Adaptive Variable Suspension System.
- If the absorber control ECU stores a DTC, the absorber control indicator light on the combination meter will come on.
- The absorber control ECU is connected to the combination meter via the CAN communication system and multiplex communication system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the absorber control ECU, check the acceleration sensor signal after replacement Test Mode Procedure.
HINT:
- Start the inspection from "CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)" when troubleshooting in accordance with the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE.
- Check the condition of each related circuit connector before troubleshooting Electronic Circuit Inspection Procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Check for DTC Adaptive Variable Suspension System.

2. PERFORM TEST MODE
(a) Perform test mode Test Mode Procedure.
(b) Check if the test mode DTC C1787/87 is output.

3. CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output Adaptive Variable Suspension System.

4. CHECK FOR DTC (MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Check if the multiplex communication system DTC is output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

5. INSPECT COMBINATION METER
(a) Check the combination meter How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
