DESCRIPTION

This is the sound signal circuit from the video (video adapter) terminal to the multi-display controller.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER




(a) Disconnect the R31 controller connector.
(b) Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions, as shown in the chart below.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VIDEO TERMINAL - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)
OK -- REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VIDEO TERMINAL - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)




(a) Disconnect the L78*2 or Y3*1 terminal connector.
(b) Disconnect the R31 controller connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
