In some cases, after the first device (i.e. mobile phone) is registered for pairing, pairing for the second and later devices fail, or entire Bluetooth Hands-Free system does not work. An improved Bluetooth unit has been developed to address customer concern.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer concern.

2. If the customer has provided a case reference number, contact United Radio for part exchange. If a case reference number is not available, proceed with step 3.

3. Contact Mazda Hands-Free System Customer Care, explain symptom, and ask for their instruction. With their approval, replace the Bluetooth unit (telephone adapter) with a new one.

CAUTION:
When the Bluetooth unit is replaced, all the memory related to Bluetooth Hands-Free (e.g. phone book records, etc.) will be deleted. The re-registration needs to be done by the customer, so please explain this to the customer before the Bluetooth unit replacement

NOTE:
For all Bluetooth unit part exchanges, a case reference number provided by Mazda Hands-Free System Customer Care is required for authorization.
