2010 Mazda3 vehicles with VINs lower than JM1 BL 1 *** ** 142331 (produced before March 20, 2009)
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may exhibit the seat heater still on [electric current applied through the seat heater in the seat cushion (A) and seat back (B)] after turning off the seat heater switch. This is caused by a malfunction of the thermostat attached to the seat heater on the seat cushion side. The thermostat production process has now been changed.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the repair procedure.
