Exterior mirror, function up to 31.08.01
The left and right mirror lenses can be adjusted vertically and horizontally.
The motors of the left exterior mirror (M21/1) and of the right exterior mirror (M21/2) in the exterior mirror housings are actuated by the up/down exterior mirror adjustment switch (S21s6) and the left/right exterior mirror adjustment switch (S21s7). When the switch is operated, circuit 30 is switched to the relevant motor by the convenience relay (F1k14).
If the left/right exterior mirror selector switch (S21/s8) is turned into the left/right end position, it is possible to actuate the motor group of the left exterior mirror (M21/1)/ right exterior mirror (M21/2).
Exterior mirror, function as of 01.09.01
The setting is performed by the lower control panel control module (N72).
The mirror to be adjusted is selected by means of the left or right exterior mirror selector switch (N72s8).
The following settings are possible with the exterior mirror adjustment switch (N72s7):
- horizontal mirror lens adjustment
- vertical mirror lens adjustment
The voltage for the lower control panel control module (N72) is supplied by the all-activity module (AAM) (N10).
This actuation voltage controls the following motors:
Driver side:
- Mirror up/down adjustment motor (M21/1m1)
- Mirror in/out adjustment motor (M21/1m2)
Passenger side:
- Mirror up/down adjustment motor (M21/2m1)
- Mirror in/out adjustment motor (M21/2m2)
