Equipped with electric folding exterior mirrors (SA Code 500)

Right Exterior Mirror Does Not Engage in Correct Stop Position

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the right exterior mirror not engaging in the correct stop position, this may be due to a protruding burr interfering with the proper electronic folding/unfolding path. This can be resolved by installing a new exterior mirror (with the index 28). Refer to WIS document AR88.70-P-9000GH

NOTE:
Exterior mirrors produced after 9/13/2006 have the improved design. The production date can be found on the attached cable harness.
