Power Liftgate Reverses When Automatically Closing





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the Power Liftgate reversing direction when closing (closes halfway automatically, then opens again), the bolted connection of the gas-operated strut bracket on the right side gas operated strut (Figure 1) will need to be re-torqued to 42 (+/- 2) Nm.
