Driver and Passenger Front Heated Seats Nonfunctional

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of both driver and passenger front heated seats not functioning, the Front Signal Acquisition and Actuation Module (SAM) may need to be flashed. The Front SAM control unit may lose variant coding for heated seats. Follow the procedure below to remedy.

1. Using STAR Diagnosis, navigate to the following menu: Control Units --> Body --> SAM-F --> Control Unit Adaptations --> Control Module Programming

2. Flash the control unit with the latest software according to the instruction prompts on the STAR Diagnosis screen.

Flash software is available as of STAR Diagnosis version 06/06.
