Wind Noise from Upper Rear Corner of Front Door

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles regarding a wind noise from the upper rear corner of the front door, this may be caused by too large of a gap between the window guide rail and the window frame.





1. Pull out window guide rail in the upper rear corner (Figure 1).





2. Position adhesive backed strip symmetrically around the corner of the window guide rail (Figure 2).

3. Reinstall window guide rail insuring that it is properly seated.

4. Check front window one touch function to insure that the window does not reverse.

This repair is non-time claimable under Group 72.
