Model 251 before production period 31.05.2006
Wiper operation is suppressed when:
^ the combination switch is in position "I",
^ the driver or passenger door is opened or
^ the speed is less than 3 km/h and
^ the wiper is in the park position.

Model 251 as of production period 01.06.2006
Wiper operation is suppressed when:
^ the combination switch is in interval position "1" or "2" and
^ the driver or passenger door is opened or
^ the speed is less than 3 km/h and
^ the wiper is in the park position.

Opening the driver or passenger-side door does not interrupt wiper operation that is currently in progress. The wipers move t the park position.

The wipers resume operation after suppression if:
^ the selector lever position is in position "D" or "R"and both front doors are closed or
^ the speed is faster than 3 km/h or
^ the combination switch is turned from position "I" to position "0" and back

Model 251 as of production period 01.06.2006
The wipers resume operation after suppression if:
^ the selector lever position is in position "D" or "R"and both front doors are closed or
^ the speed is faster than 3 km/h or
^ the combination switch is moved from interval position "1" or "2" to position "I" or "II" or touch wiping.
