The mid-line tire pressure monitor system enables the actual tire inflation pressures in the individual tires to be displayed. Changes in the pressure display while driving are attributable to the changing temperatures of the air inside the tire.

Display tire inflation pressure:
^ Press the button M or button M on the multifunction steering wheel until the tire pressure is displayed in the multifunction display

The display can be preset specific to language and country by the driver.

System messages
It may briefly occur that this system message is faded in instead of the pressure values. This will be the case if an activation procedure has been initiated, if wheel sensors have been changed or other wheels mounted. In these cases the tire pressure monitor system checks whether changes have occurred in the position of the wheels. The pressure values are not displayed until the system has been able to recognize a unique assignment.
The left rear TPM wheel antenna (A2/46) and right rear TPM wheel antenna (A2/47) which are also fitted detect the wheels with wheel electronics which are fitted to the vehicle in question and assigned to the individual positions. If changes in the wheel assignment ensue (e.g. due to wheel changing), a learning process sets in which has detected the new status after driving for approx. 10 to 15 minutes. This process is only active during a journey, in order to ensure that any signals from external vehicles are not incorrectly assigned.
