Special tools
- Test cable 266 589 01 63 00
- Socket box 129 589 00 21 00
Test procedure G3/2 (O2 sensor upstream of KAT)
- Switch off ignition.
- Disconnect the socket M at control module N3/9 (CDI control unit).
- Connect 126-pole socket box at engine wiring harness.
- Measure direct voltage with multimeter between socket [M.80] 80 of the 126-pole socket box tester and ground.
Specified value
- Voltage< 1 V
Question
- Are the measurement values OK?
YES
The measurement value is OK.Possible cause and remedy in the case of stored fault code
- Check lines between control unit N3/9 (CDI control unit) and component G3/2 (O2 sensor upstream of KAT) as well as connections and connectors for damage, correct fitting, loose contact and corrosion, and repair or replace as necessary.
End of test
NO
The measurement value is not OK.Further procedure
- Test cables and connections, rectify any short circuit.
End of test
