Replacement Parts with Seam Seal

In the above model vehicles, when replacing a door the following seam seal applications should also be included; otherwise expected durability levels will not be achieved. Refer to WIS document AR97.20-P-1500GZ (164) and AR97.20-P-1500RT (251) for cavity preservation information.

Model 164





1. Along complete fold on door frame (Figure 1 - dotted line).





2. Window frame (Figure 2), refer to WIS document AR97.10-P-4000-04GZ. The bore in the window frame (Figure 2, 1) should be sealed with a rubber grommet in order to prevent water ingress.

Model 251





1. Along complete fold on door frame (Figure 3 - dotted line).





2. Height of the waistline (Figure 4, A), refer to WIS document AR97.10-P-4000-04RT.
