Complaint:

Aluminum trim strip on door paneling lining makes noises

Cause:

Relative movements between the trim strip and the door panel.

Remedy:

1. Remove trim strip on door lining of front door.

2. Cut slide tape to a length of 450 mm.

3. Cut a 7 mm wide strip from the slide tape.

4. Stick the slide tape (7 mm) on the back of the trim strip on the trim material as shown in Figure 2 (starting 15 mm from the side edge, see Figure 1). The slide tape must be attached flushed with the inside edge.

5. Press down the adhesive tape beyond the first radius. The adhesive tape must not protrude into the radius on the visible side!

6. Reinstall trim strip.
