The negative control deviation during boost pressure control is too high.


Possible cause:

- M16/6 (Throttle valve actuator)
- Charge air system
Affected functions:

- Power generation

Test 1: Inspect charge air system for leaks.

Test 2: Check component M16/6 (Throttle valve actuator).

1. Inspect charge air system for leaks.
Turbocharger adjustment
Note

- This fault can be caused by a jammed adjusting mechanism in the turbocharger.
Procedure

- Check turbocharger adjusting mechanism for unobstructed movement by actuating.
Communication with ECU required

2. Check component M16/6 (Throttle valve actuator).
Check component M16/6 (Throttle valve actuator) by means of actuation.
