Dosing Valve and Heated Line

When working on the above model vehicles and the dosing valve or heated line is to be removed for inspection, testing or replacement, please note the following.








2. When removing the dosing valve (Figure 1, A) for any reason, the dosing valve clamp (Figure 2, D) seal ring (Figure 2, C) must be replaced.

2. When disconnecting the heated line, the O-ring (Figure 2, B) must be replaced.

3. The part number for the dosing valve seal ring (Figure 2, C) is currently not in EPC and will be included in the next EPC update.

4. When replacing the dosing valve (Figure 1, A), the new dosing valve comes with the seal ring (Figure 2, C) but the clamp will need to be ordered separately.

5. The torque specification for the clamp (Figure 2, D) is 5 Nm.
