GF72.29-P-0003RT Power Windows (PW [EFH]), Function

The power window system (PW) allows opening and closing the front and rear windows. In addition the right/left rear vent windows can be opened and closed manually via the driver power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group (S20/1).

Functions
^ Manual and automatic raising and lowering via:
- Driver power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group
- Front passenger power window switch (S21/2)
- Left rear power window switch (S21/3)
- Right rear power window switch (S21/4)
^ Desmodromic valve control for opening and closing doors (short stroke)

The convenience function is another possibility to open and close the side as well as the vent windows, allowing the windows to be closed and opened from one control point
^ Convenience closing/opening via:
- Recirculated air function
- Transmitter key (A8/1)
^ Convenience closing via:
- Keyless Go (KG) (with Keyless Go code 889)

Obstruction sensor
The excess force limiter feature (indirect obstruction sensor) is activated during the closing procedure of the windows.

Normalization
The power windows must be normalized for the automatic raising/ lowering functions (upper mechanical window stop learned in).
