N34 Heater timer
Heater operation is switched off directly at the heater timer of the auxiliary heater heating unit or by means of a preselection. The fuel supply is stopped immediately by switching off the metering pump (Y23/4). The blower motor (N33/6m1) of the auxiliary heater combustion air blower is activated for approximately t = 4 min (cold blow phase) to cool down the auxiliary heater heating unit. To clean possible combustion residues, the glow pin (N33/6r1) is actuated during the cold blowing phase for t = 40 seconds. When the cold blow phase is complete, all components of the auxiliary heater heating unit are switched off.
Deactivate heater operation from the standby mode
If there is still no fuel delivery by the time the auxiliary heater heating unit is deactivated or if the auxiliary heater heating unit is in the control level "OFF", the auxiliary heater heating unit is switched off immediately, without the blower motor of the auxiliary heater combustion air motor being activated (cold blow phase).
Manual operation without timer
Deactivating the auxiliary heater heating unit
The ON/OFF button for the auxiliary heater must be pressed.
Deactivation is indicated in the display field of the heater timer with the display of "Stationary heater operation" extinguishing.
Program timer
Erase switch-on time
Press the "Switch-on time, weekday and timer" button until the number in the "Activated switch-on times" display in the display field of the heater timer goes out.
Only the currently displayed switch-on time can be erased.
Fault shutoff of auxiliary heater heating unit
A shutoff takes place if one of the following conditions exists:
- If there is an undervoltage (U < 10.5 V) or overvoltage (U > 16 V), the auxiliary heater heating unit is shut off after t = 20 s.
- In the event of a defective overheating sensor (N33/6b1), defective flame sensor (N33/6b2) or open circuited electrical line to the overheating sensor and flame sensor, the auxiliary heater heating unit is started and not shut off until during the startup phase.
- If the blower motor of the auxiliary heater combustion air blower does not start or the speed differs by at least 10 %, the auxiliary heater heating unit is shut off after t = 30 s.
After a fault shutoff, the actuation of the metering pump is canceled and the blower motor of the auxiliary heater combustion air blower runs on for t = 4 min.
