Reason for change

Complaint:
Small gap between the instrument panel and edge guard (see Figure 1).

Cause:
Instrument panel side cover distortion.

Remedy:
Check side instrument panel cover for distortion.








Refer to Figure 2 and 3 (above):

Cover OK (see Figure 2).

Cover not OK (see Figure 3).

If the cover is distorted, the part must be replaced.

Part number applies for various colors, so you must determine part based on chassis number via the EPC.

Note:
Some parts may be non-stocking parts for MBUSA and possibly C66 and not immediately available from DAG. Please be aware and check availability prior to scheduling customer repairs.
