Reason for change

Complaint:
Noises from air vents (round vents) in event of severe temperature fluctuations in the blower.

Cause:
Different material expansion rates of the components cause crackling noises inside the air vent.

Remedy:
1. Remove air vent and apply long-term lubricant (A 000 989 36 60) from the noise kit (A 000 580 03 50) to the locations marked on the vent as shown in the attachment.

2. Move the catch adjustment in order to spread the lubricant.

3. Reinstall the vent.
