Location
The evaporator temperature sensor is located on the upper side of the roof air conditioning evaporator in the rear heavy duty automatic air conditioning recirculation unit on the roof of the vehicle.

Task
The evaporator temperature sensor measures the temperature at the roof air conditioning evaporator and transmits this value to the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (S98).
