The rear heater blower regulator is located in the rear heater/air conditioner air recirculation unit.

Task
In vehicles except code (HH9) Regulated air conditioning (Tempmatic), the rear heater blower regulator regulates the operating speed of the rear heater blower motor according to the blower stage set by means of the rear blower switch (S98s16) integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (S98).
In vehicles with code (HH9) Regulated air conditioning (Tempmatic), the rear heater blower regulator regulates the operating speed of the rear heater blower motor according to the blower stage set by means of the rear blower control button (+) (S98s2) and the rear blower control button (-) (S98s3) integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit.

A transistor is integrated in the rear heater blower regulator.

Function
In vehicles except code (HH9) Regulated air conditioning (Tempmatic), the rear heater blower regulator limits the voltage applied at the rear heater blower motor to a certain value according to the setting of the rear blower switch integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit and thereby regulates the different operating speeds of the rear heater blower motor.
In vehicles with code (HH9) Regulated air conditioning (Tempmatic), the rear heater blower regulator limits the voltage applied at the rear heater blower motor to a certain value according to the setting by means of the rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-), which are integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit, and thereby regulates the different operating speeds of the rear heater blower motor.
