Location

The left heated rear window is located in the left rear door and right heated rear window in the right rear door.

Task

The left heated rear window and right heated rear window remove ice, snow and water from the corresponding rear window and ensure a free view toward the rear for the driver.

On vehicles with code (FY1) ATA 2 with interior protection, towing sensor and battery-operated horn, the heating wires of the left heated rear window and right heated rear window are monitored and, if applicable, an "Anti-theft alarm system (ATA)" is transmitted from the SAM control unit (N10) to the OCP control unit (N70), with code LD0) Dome lamp with reading lamp on driver/front passenger side.
