GF83.10-D-2020H Rear Air Conditioning System Ventilation, Function
- with CODE (HH7) Additional air conditioning in rear
36 Roof air duct
37 Air nozzles
38 Dust filter grill
S98 AAC [KLA] control and operating unit
S98s2 Rear blower control button (+)
S98s3 Rear blower control button (-)
S98s7 Rear air conditioning button
The ventilation of the rear automatic air conditioning can only be controlled and regulated using the rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-) integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit if it is switched on using the rear air conditioning button integrated in the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit.
Activation of the rear automatic air conditioning is indicated by illumination of the red light emitting diode (LED) in the rear air conditioning button. The ventilation ensures circulation of the recirculated air (air circulation) and also ensures that homogeneous and pleasant temperatures are provided in the passenger or load compartment of the vehicle.
Ventilation is only provided in air recirculation mode, no fresh air is drawn in.
The Blower motor (A32/2m1) takes in the recirculated air from the passenger or load compartment of the vehicle through the dust filter located behind the dust filter grill.
The rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-) are used to control the rate of circulation of the recirculated air with the help of the blower motor.
The AAC [KLA] control and operating unit actuates the blower regulator (A32/2a1). The blower regulator regulates the voltage applied at the blower motor. The rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-) can be used to adjust the output of the blower motor in the following stages via the blower regulator:
- Stage 1
- Stage 2
- Stage 3
The blower motor cannot be switched off using the rear blower control button (+) and the rear blower control button (-). The rear heater blower motor can only be switched off by switching off the rear heater using the rear air conditioning button.
The recirculated air is distributed via the roof air duct and the swiveling lockable air outlets.
The flow of recirculated air in the roof area additionally depends on the position of the vent flaps integrated in each of the swiveling lockable air outlets.
