Location
The roof air conditioning desiccant cartridge is located in the high-pressure line (liquid) of the rear heavy duty automatic air conditioning recirculation unit downstream of the roof air conditioning condenser on the vehicle roof.

Task
Dirt and moisture are cleaned from the liquid refrigerant in the roof air conditioning desiccant cartridge. At the same time, the roof air conditioning desiccant cartridge is used as a reservoir to supply the rear heavy duty automatic air conditioning (roof air conditioning) with a sufficient amount of refrigerant.
