Location
The heater timer is located in a "DIN slot" in the headliner of the driver compartment above the DBE control unit, with code (LD0) Dome lamp with reading lamp on driver/ passenger side, or in the front dome lamp with switch (E15/1).
Task
The corresponding functions can be activated or deactivated using the following buttons in the heater timer:
- Turning the heat output control knob to the left increases the temperature.
The temperature is decreased by turning the heat output control knob to the right.
- The remaining time is indicated in the display field by briefly pressing the "Decrease" button.
The current remaining time can be shortened by pressing the "Decrease" button > 1 s.
The "Time, switch-on time and outside temperature" multiple display flashes if the "Decrease" button is pressed and held > 3 s, and if the "Decrease" button is released briefly and then pressed again the heating time is shortened. Pressing the "Increase" button extends the heating time.
- The auxiliary heater heating unit can be manually activated or deactivated by pressing the auxiliary heater "ON/OFF" button.
- The switch-on time settings (maximum of 3) and the associated weekdays or the current weekday and the current time can be displayed by pressing the "Switch-on time, weekday and timer" button one or more times.
The first switch-on time in the display field flashes if the "Switch-on time, weekday and timer" button is pressed, and the switch-on time can be adjusted by pressing the "Increase" button or "Decrease" button. Then the required day of the week can be set by pressing the "Increase" button or "Decrease" button when the "Weekday" display flashes.
The current switch-on time can be erased by pressing the "Switch-on time, weekday and timer" button, and the "Activated switch-on times" display extinguishes.
- If the "Time and preset time" button is pressed and held, the "Time, switch-on time and outside temperature" multiple display flashes, and the current time can be adjusted forwards or backwards by pressing the "Increase" button or "Decrease" button.
The current day of the week can be set by pressing and holding down the "Time and preset time" button and pressing the "Switch-on time, weekday and timer" button.
