Location
The left and right rear-end door wiper motors are mounted on the inner side of the each rear-end door.

Task
The left and right rear-end door wiper motors are responsible for driving the respective rear window wipers.

Design
The left and right rear-end door wiper motors each consist of an electric motor with gearing and integrated rear wiper relay.

Function
The left and right rear-end door wiper motors are actuated over the SAM control unit (N10) by the combination switch (S144). If the SAM control unit is no longer actuated, then the left and right rear-end door wiper motors only keep running until the rear wipers have reached the park position.
Upon reaching the park position, the cam switches mounted in the left and right rear-end door wiper motors close, thus braking the wiper motors by short circuit.
