AZ54.65-P-0001-12CY Retrofit Ultrasonic Backup Assist Control Unit
- except CODE (220) Parktronic system (PTS)
- except CODE (990) AMG vehicles

Repair Materials:

1. Clean bonding surface on ultrasonic backup assist control unit (2).

The bonding surface on the ultrasonic backup assist control unit (2) must be free of dust and grease.

2. Bond supplied velcro strip (3) to ultrasonic backup assist control unit (2) in the way shown.
3. Connect connector (1) to ultrasonic backup assist control unit (2).







4. Bond ultrasonic backup assist control unit (2) in stowage tray (4) at area indicated (arrow A).

Make sure that the connector of the ultrasonic backup assist control unit (2) has adequate clearance to allow it to be disconnected during disassembly work.

The ultrasonic backup assist control unit (2) must be pushed all the way into the stowage tray (4), otherwise it will not be possible to install the stowage tray (4).







5. Secure stowage tray (4) using bolts (arrows B).

Make sure that the ultrasonic backup assist wiring harness is not pinched as this can cause the ultrasonic backup assist to malfunction.
