Ensure that the wiring harnesses are not damaged by chafing or pinching. Otherwise the corresponding wiring harness must be replaced.
The following operation steps can be performed in the same manner on the left or right side of the vehicle. Clarification must be reached with the customer in advance regarding the side of the vehicle on which the Tablet PC mount (4) is to be installed.
1 Remove green fuse carrier (2) from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and turn over.
2 Remove red/green line (RD/GN) from contact cavity 6 of green fuse carrier (2).
The contact cavities are labeled.
3.1 Install red/green line (RD/GN) in contact cavity 3 (arrow) of green fuse carrier (2).
On vehicles without code (359) TELEAID emergency call system.
The contact cavities are labeled.
3.2 Connect red/green line (RD/GN) using solder connector (22) to black/yellow line (BK/YE).

On vehicles with code (359) TELEAID emergency call system.
The black/yellow line (BK/YE) is installed in contact cavity 3 of the green fuse carrier. The contact cavities are labeled.
4 Fit green fuse carrier (2) onto rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
5 Install a fuse with a 7.5 A rating in contact cavity 3 (arrow) of the green fuse carrier (2).

6 Connect white 8-pin connector (10) of vehicle wiring harness to white 8-pin plug (8.1) of wiring harness (8).
