Valve Clearance Test (DE-01.03)

Notes:
Check and adjust valve clearance with engine hot or cold.
Replace any damaged cap or lock nuts.
Observe location of intake and exhaust valves.





The engine can be cranked as follows:
a) With socket wrench and ratchet on hex bolt for attaching balancing disk to crankshaft.

Important: Do not crank engine On fastening bolt of camshaft sprocket.

Do not rotate crankshaft in reverse.

b) With starter and remote starter switch.
Connect contact handle to terminal 30 and 50 at starter.
Contact handle may also be connected to battery + instead of to terminal 30.
