Condenser Fan: Service and Repair


Removal
1. Disconnect battery.

Condenser (Auxiliary) Fan Plug Connection:





2. Pull electric plug (27) on stiffening at front left in engine compartment from clip (10) and unplug connection.
3. Expose electric line up to condenser (auxiliary) fan while loosening cable bands.

Condenser (Auxiliary) Fan Mounting:





4. Remove screw (4) and clamps (5).
5. Remove screw (7) and put strut (6) slightly aside. Then remove condenser (auxiliary) fan.
6. Remove holder (3) from condenser (auxiliary) fan.

Installation
1. Install holder (3) to condenser (auxiliary) fan.
2. Install condenser (auxiliary) fan, attach to strut (6) and to cross member. Reattach strut (6).
3. Install harness up to clip (10) and attach.
4. Connect 2-pin plug and fasten with clamp (10).
5. Check condenser (auxiliary) fan for function by removing and connecting to flat plug pins of temperature switch with key on.
6. Check direction of rotation of condenser (auxiliary) fan. Fan is rotating clockwise; if direction of rotating is wrong, interchange jacks in 2-pin plug (27).
