SUBJECT: APPLICATION OF M-B BODY SEALING COMPOUND


The brushes, wooden spatulas, etc. used to apply M-B body seam sealer, part no. 001 989 63 20 (formerly part no. 001 989 36 20 and 001 989 41 20) must only be cleaned with lacquer thinner or discarded.

If these applicators are cleaned prior to application in M-B 2K-paint thinner or other fluids containing alcohol, the body sealers will not harden properly.
