SUBJECT: START OF DELIVERY MARKING ON INJECTION PUMP BEARING COVER CHASSIS 123 AND 126 WITH ENGINE 617.95

FIGURE 3 - INCORRECTLY POSITIONED START OF DELIVERY MARKING (APPROXIMATELY AT THE LEFT EDGE OF THE OIL OVERFLOW RECESS):

The start of delivery marking on the bearing cover may be incorrectly positioned (Fig.. 3) on injection pumps having the production code number "250 and 251" (arrow, Fig. 1).

All pumps are checked by Robert Bosch for the above condition when they come in for test or repair and are re-marked with the correct mark after calibration. In some cases, however, it may be necessary to follow the procedure outlined below.
