SUBJECT: MODIFIED WINDOW CRANK COVER ALL MODELS

As of December 1982, a modified window crank cover was installed in production. Two reinforcement ribs (Figure 1, B) were added to the tab which locks the cover into place. The part number remained unchanged. The stock of the previous version cover may be used up.

Removal

To remove, push down with screwdriver on the locking tab and over in direction of window crank axle (Figure 2, arrows).

NOTE: In case of complaints of the cover coming loose, use only the modified version for replacement.
