Fig. 50 Flow of Diagnosis:
1. Verify customer complaint by getting a detailed description from customer. Road test and perform vehicle inspection i.e. connections, wheel nut torque, fluid levels, leaks, fuses and brake hardware.
2. Check TSB's for updated test procedures, warranty information and recalls.
3. Special test equipment is available for system testing. Refer to REQUIRED TEST EQUIPMENT under "TESTING PROCEDURES" for description and hookup procedures.
4. Refer to this section in "TESTING PROCEDURES" if special test equipment is not available. NOTE: These tests are limited to only specific areas of the ABS system.
