Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

Removal and installation of electronic blower regulator





- Remove wiper system.
- Pull outside air temperature sensor (B10/5) out (Fig. 1)
- Remove cover (1), unclipping 8 clips (arrow) (Fig. 1)
- Unclip retaining strap (2) (Fig. 2)
- Pull flat plug on blower motor off and remove blower motor (M2, Fig. 2)
- Remove holder (3), unscrewing 3 screws (4, Fig. 3)
- Unscrew screws (5 and 6) (Fig. 4)
- Carefully lift housing in the area (arrow) and remove blower regulator (N29) at the side (Fig. 5)
- Install in reverse order
