When installing the plug (16) or the connection fitting (18) on the coolant pump, do not use Loctite or bonding agent since these fittings must be removed during the factory rebuilding program. Sealing is provided by the aluminum seal ring (17, Figure 1).

Specified tightening torque: 45 Nm

Note:
In the event of leakage, the plug or connection fitting can only be sealed using sealant, part no. 001 989 25 20.
