Fuel Tank With Steadying Bowl:
The fuel tank is of conventional style steel construction, mounted forward of the trunk. It has provisions for fuel expansion and is fitted with inlets and outlets for, fuel supply, vapor recovery and fuel return. It houses the fuel gauge sending unit and the fuel steadying bowl. The purpose of the steadying bowl is to ensure a constant fuel supply for the engine when the fuel level is low and during prolonged cornering.
