Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Description and Operation

Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor In EZL/AKR Control Unit:

PURPOSE AND LOCATION
The pressure sensor, located in the EZK/AKR control unit (N1/3), detects the intake manifold pressure. This signal is sent from the EZK/AKR control unit to the LH control unit via the controller area network (CAN).

This information is used for the following:
^ Engine start-up to about 600 RPM
^ "Limp home mode" when air mass sensor is defective
