Adjusting Hood Lengthwise

A. Adjusting hood lengthwise

1. Remove each inner fender (88-130).

2. Raise the hood to vertical, and unhook the springs (1) from the hood hinges.

3. Close the hood. Be careful since the weight of the hood is no longer countersprung.

4. Loosen the hood hinge nuts (4).

5. Adjust the hood so the front edge aligns with the front edge of the fenders.

6. Tighten the hood hinge nuts.

7. Raise the hood to vertical and reinstall the hinge springs.

8. Reinstall the inner fenders (88-130).
