Installing Transmitter - Receiver

1. Remove trunk carpeting, first aid kit.





2. Remove small piece of carpeting from right hand side of trunk (beneath first aid kit) to reveal transmitter - receiver bracket and harness (Fig. 8).

3. Remove bracket by removing the two front bolts and loosening the third rear bolt (do not remove completely) and lift bracket up and out (Fig. 8).





4. Connect antenna lead and 25 pin transmitter connection to transmitter - receiver (ensuring that the 25 pin connector is on top). Install transmitter - receiver and secure three bolts (Fig. 9).

5. Reinstall carpeting over transmitter - receiver, first aid kit and trunk carpeting.





6. Inspect fuse in auxiliary fuse box (8A).

7. Reconnect negative battery terminal.

8. Recode radio.

9. Program cellular telephone.

10. Test function.
