D. Model 124 and 201, 2ND Version Bracket

1. Remove trunk carpeting and left wheel well liner.





2. Measure back 20 cm from sill to rear of transmitter - receiver bracket.

3. Trace footprint of bracket along liner. Using a utility knife carefully cut along the sides and bottom of liner making a flap. Fold liner back.





4. Punch and drill all three mounting holes using a 3 mm drill. Clean any metal shavings and apply zinc dust paint.

5. Place four pieces of rubber padding on top and bottom transmitter - receiver brackets.

6. Locate and expose transmitter - receiver cable and antenna cable.

7. Replace wheel well liner.





8. Secure lower bracket to trunk using only the center mounting location at this time.





9. Connect 25 pin transmitter connection and antenna cable to transmitter receiver. Place transmitter - receiver in lower bracket ensuring that the 25 pin connector is against the trunk wall.





10. Place top transmitter bracket over transmitter - receiver using center hole as a locator over secured screw ensuring that the long end of the top bracket hangs over the 25 pin connector. Secure with two M4 x 12 sheet metal screws.

11. Fold carpeting flap over bracket screws. Trim as necessary.

12. Replace trunk carpeting.
