Preparation
- Open hood. raise to vertical position.

Overview
- Model 124: remove fan shroud, install.
- Models 129 and 140: take off fan shroud ring, place over fan, fit on.
- All models: slacken bolt (16), about 1/4 to 1/2 turns.
- Slacken tensioning nut (6), turn to the left.
- Take off poly V-belt.
- Examine belt pulley surfaces for signs of damage and dirt, replace if necessary (e. g. worn bearing points of tensioning device, dents in belt pulleys etc.).
- Turn setting pointer (13) to marking (1).
- Install poly V-belt, starting at tensioning pulley (1), refer to Poly Drive Belt Routing. Diagrams

CAUTION: Do not use belt wax or similar products.

- Tighten tensioning nut (12) until setting pointer (13) is located between the markings (2).
- Tighten bolt (16) to (100 Nm).
- Examine seat of belt on belt pulleys.
