VISUAL

In the instrument cluster there are indicator lamps with various symbols for ASR.

ABS warning lamp
ASR function indicator lamp
ASR warning lamp

IGNITION ON

When the ignition is turned on (ignition/start switch position 2), the ASR function indicator lamp and the ASR warning lamp in the instrument cluster come on. They go out once the engine is running.

DRIVING

During driving, the ASR function indicator lamp comes on whenever the ASR system operates. After the ASR operation has stopped, the ASR function indicator lamp stays on approx. 1 second longer. If ASR only operates momentarily, the ASR function indicator lamp does not come on.

ASR OPERATION

The ASR function indicator lamp informs the driver that the ASR system is operating and indicates to him that the vehicle has approached the limits of tire adhesion. He can then better adapt his driving technique to the road conditions.
