Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc: Description and Operation

The sound system is available in the USA in conjunction with the Becker Mexico 2000 and Becker Grand Prix radio sets. With this completely newly developed system which is matched to the vehicle environment, an optimal sound reproduction for all car occupants is achieved by appropriately positioning the 11 speakers. The sound system operates in a frequency range from 25 Hz to 18 kHz.

Sound-specific components are:
- Amplifier/receiver in the trunk, recognizable from the Becker Type No. BE 15.. and by the white or blue sticker.
- Fader, recognizable when fitted - turned into end position - from the white mark behind the direction arrow or from the blue connector plate.
- Speakers, recognizable from the light blue sticker.

NOTE: These parts must not be mixed up with parts from other radio and speaker systems.

When installing a carphone, no alterations may be made to the sound system. A separate speaker must be installed for the hands-free system of the carphone.
